Location: Ridge across from Turtle Creek Park, Lewisburg, PA.

Habitat description: Hardwood forest

Substrate/host organism: Fallen wood log on ground

 

General aspect/fruiting habit: Grew with multiple others, some clustered and some individuals. Gathered together and attached at a central or lateral position.

 

Fruiting body: Tough gelatinous skin in hydrated state when collected. Dry skin when dehydrated. Fruit body had a depressed pileus and entire/crenulate margins. No stipe present or very short stipe present. Smooth and wavy hymenium. Tan/brown in color. No odor.
