Collected on bark of hardwood tree in Dale’s Ridge park in Lewisburg, PA.
Appearance and growth:
Cap measures 1-1.3 x 1.2-1.4 cm and is white, turning yellowish as it approaches the stem. It is smooth and chalky in texture and rubs off white on finger. Gills are present and spaced close together, light brown in color and crenate. Dried specimen appears to be eccentically attached to stipe.
Spores:
Spores measure 2.5-4×10-12.5 um and are oblong in shape. Some spores are unpigmented, while some, possibly more mature spores, may be pigmented.
