Possible ID Sarocladium sp. Classification: Phylum Ascomycota Class Pezizomycotina Order Sordariomycetes Family Sarocladium Isolation and culturing method From soil outside of LC. Small amount of soil centrifuged with water, plated, and grown at room temperature. Specific culture removed from plate by taking a clump of hyphae, re-plated four times on M+C agar plate to obtain pure culture. Culture appearance and growth Surface texture looks bumpy.
